Just testing again .. a couple of drawings of 'characters' we encountered/photographed on our last Indian trip ... hoping to get lots more ref material ...
this is a coloured pencil drawing I did based on the snake charmer from Jaipur (from a slightly different angle than that in the photo above)
and this coloured pencil drawing was based loosely on two different characters I photographed in Tamil Nadu ... the face from one person and the turban from another - just combined the two
OK that's enough playing now ... the Blog is operational and our next post will be from Mysore where the temperatures are currently around 30-32degrees .... a tad warmer than here in Whitstable!
